This chair is an absolute game changer! I've been using a standing desk for 14 years, but I always spent too much time either standing or sitting because I would get absorbed in my work and forget to adjust. I've only had this chair for a few days and have already noticed the difference in how often I switch positions effortlessly without losing focus. It's already making a noticable difference in my back pain. I waited almost 3 years for this chair and it was 100% worth the wait!

Best sit/stand chair on the market! I have been using this chair for few years now, starting with the prototype, and it has helped my back issues tremendously. It is worth its weight in gold and definitely worth investing in. Numerous drs, injections and therapy did not touch my back pain, this chair enabled me to continue my desk job for many more years to come. I can’t be more grateful!
The time savings from not having to lower or raise the desk is worth it alone. When you don't have to stop working to change your stance you move it far more often.
This chair has been a real improvement to my office setup. I suffer from sciatica and the various positions really help with feeling stiff and stuck in one spot. I can't imagine going back to a traditional chair.
In my role I have to leave my desk many times throughout the day, and getting in and out the chair is much easier transition then before.

I've been using my movebly chair for the past 3 months now and I absolutely love it. I've never experienced a smart chair like this before and I'm so glad I got one. Being able to cycle through different seating positions throughout the day has made a noticeable impact on my body. The fatigue and tightness I would normally get in a traditional chair, especially at the end of the day, is greatly reduced. There's also a lot of potential to just move and stretch in the chair while sitting, standing, or in the "flamingo" position.
I originally backed Movably on Kickstarter and was fortunate enough to receive one of the early prototypes. I’ve been using a Movably chair as part of my daily routine ever since because I spend very long hours at my desk.
Before switching to Movably, getting up from my traditional office chair had become painful. I had significant knee pain every time I stood up, and as someone who loves to run, it was becoming increasingly difficult to enjoy one of my favorite activities.
After using the Movably chair for a relatively short time, I started noticing that my knees felt better. A few months later, the pain was completely gone. Today, I can run without any knee issues. While everyone’s experience is different, that has been my personal journey, and it’s made a tremendous difference in my daily life.
I intentionally waited to write this review because I wanted it to reflect the production version that everyone can actually purchase—not just the prototype. I’ve been using the final production chair since May, and it has performed flawlessly.
One of my favorite features is the app. I have it set to Auto Mode with the round-trip option, so every few minutes the chair gently changes my sitting position automatically. It’s one of those features you don’t realize you need until you’ve lived with it. It keeps me moving throughout the day without interrupting my work.
I also want to recognize the team behind Movably. Throughout the prototype phase, they were incredibly responsive and supportive. As expected with an early prototype, I experienced a few issues, but every time they were quick to respond and provide a replacement. That level of customer service gave me a lot of confidence in the company.
Overall, my experience has been outstanding. The chair is thoughtfully designed, the team genuinely cares about their customers, and for someone who spends countless hours working at a desk, it has been one of the best investments I’ve made.

I've been using the Movably Pro for over 6 months and can't imagine going back to a traditional desk chair. I love the flexibility it provides between standing (with lumbar support and a footrest!), sitting, and "flamingo" (half sitting/half standing) while I am at the computer. It's incredibly easy and intuitive to use and very well-built. I would recommend it (and do!) to any desk worker looking to move more regularly throughout the day, whether you're currently dealing with pain, tightness, and/or fatigue or just trying to prevent it. A wonderful and innovative product!

My personal trainer observed since using this my hips are no longer tight in the gym, so I can push stronger lifts and progress on my kettlebells.
Works as expected. Waiting for apps to be available so I can adjust the sit stand warnings. The warnings trigger far to frequently and the inability to adjust it is very annoying initially.

The chair comes with the sit-stand pattern set to 3 minutes. The same pattern from the research study that did very well, but we know that can feel too frequent for some. You can change the pattern and interval with the app.

This chair is a life saver! I work from home and have a herniated disc in my low back which doesn't like to site or stand for too long. I love that this chair makes me move every 10 minutes and I can change positions without having to bring my desk up and down each time, which means I can seamlessly change positions during meetings with no interruption or loud noises! My back feels so much better when I can move constantly and this chair makes it possible!
The chair is amazing. Dealing with sciatica and back issues, this was right on time. Being able to auto adjust seating helps sooo much. Flamingo is my go to. Let alone it just looks cool and people like that chair is dope. I’d highly suggest if you’ve delt with sciatica or back issues and/or if you have a standing desk this would be my go to chair.
The most unique and best chair I’ve used. Keeps me moving and back pair free throughout the work week. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to stay healthy while having a desk job.
